Our annual Ghost Dance Festival at Strand on the Green was nothing short of incredible, a true celebration of dance, creativity and the amazing school communities we are so lucky to work with. We were proud to bring together so many of our local partner schools for a day filled with energy, talent and unforgettable performances.
Children took to the stage (and field!) to perform in front of other schools, staff and parents, confidently showcasing the routines theyβve been working so hard on throughout the year. It was so special to see dancers supporting one another, building friendships across schools and truly embracing the spirit of the event. With the sun shining all afternoon, the atmosphere was electric full of smiles, cheers and proud moments from start to finish.
The standard this year was incredibly high, with each school bringing something unique and exciting to the stage. From creative choreography to powerful performances, every group should be proud of what they achieved. A huge congratulations to St Maryβs for an outstanding performance, taking home both the KS1 and KS2 titles, an amazing accomplishment!
That said, this event is about so much more than winning. Itβs about building confidence, celebrating progress, and giving children the opportunity to perform, express themselves and feel part of something special. We are so proud of every single school that took part and grateful to all the staff and parents who came along to support.
We canβt wait to do it all again next year, even bigger and better! ππΊ
