This year marked an incredible milestone for Ghost Dance Troupe as we attended the UDO World Championships for the very first time, held at the iconic Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
For many of our dancers, this was their first experience performing on such a large stage, in front of hundreds of spectators and a panel of world-class judges. The atmosphere was electric, and stepping onto that stage was an achievement in itself.
While we didn’t bring home a trophy this time, the experience was truly unforgettable. Our dancers showed courage, determination and growth, representing Ghost Dance Troupe with pride.
Beyond the competition, the week was filled with amazing opportunities. The children took part in inspiring workshops led by professional dancers, learning new skills and pushing themselves outside of their comfort zones. Alongside this, they created lasting memories together from time spent as a team to the excitement of being part of such a huge international event.
We are so proud of every dancer who took part. This was just the beginning of our journey on the world stage 🖤
